3 THINGS THURSDAY - 23rd May 2019

Pic of the Week

Those of you in the 5AM Club will have seen some of these mornings over the last week. This was taken after my morning swim at Mount Martha beach. It was so foggy on the water I couldn't see the 5-knot markers.

Here are the top three things have made a difference in my week.

They might also be useful for you, or not.

1) A video I've watched...

Inside the mind of a PROCRASTINATOR.
Is a ripper TED Talk by Tim Urban that I watched a couple of years ago and it a clip I have watched a few times. Great presentation with very cool content. Explains why we put things off. All my kids have watched it.
What are you procrastinating on right now? Could you get it done today?

2) A book I'm reading...

The 4 Agreements.
A great little book ( 2 hours to read) that offers a code of conduct based on ancient Toltec wisdom that advocates freedom from self-limiting beliefs, described as our domestication (love that analogy). And how this domestication, this training we have had since birth, prevents us from being our authentic self and results in suffering and limitation in a person's life.

By the way, I get all my books from the local Farrell's bookshop in Mornington (they were the first to stock my book) or from Book Depository. The link I have given above it to Book Depository where you can get the book for $16.50 delivered within a week.

3) Something I listened to...

Four Secrets to Success - The Brendon Show
This is one of many great podcasts by Brendon Burchard. He is a USA based performance coach, that shares his idea's without the "ra-ra", and instead from a practical point of view. I love his podcasts because they last 10-20min, which is perfect for a short car trip, or whilst doing your 20min home exercises.

I would love your feedback on what had an impact on you and the lesson in it, moral of the story, or learning you would share. Send me a message via
Facebook, or >span class="">LinkedIn.

Have a ripper finish to your week .

My favorite quote this week is
"If you do easy things, life will be hard. If you do hard things, life will be easy." Matthew Michalewicz. I heard this guy speak for 2 days live at a retreat last week.

I would love your feedback on what had an impact on you and the lesson in it, moral of the story, or learning you would share.

Have a ripper finish to your week.

Cheers, Dr. Ben
